LA mural artist Strae Logo White
LA based large-scale mural artist

Eric Strae is a Los Angeles based muralist whose artistic journey began at the age of four when he first started drawing animals from Zoobooks magazine. His early fascination with the natural world would later influence his distinctive style as an artist. As a teenager, he was captivated by graffiti art and the expressive power of spray paint, eventually honing his skills and developing a unique approach that merges his passion for art with his appreciation of nature.

Strae's murals are known for their larger-than-life depictions of people, animals, plants, and landscapes often rendered in bold colors and intricate details capturing both their beauty and raw energy. His recent works display vivid scenes of wildlife often bursting through manmade structures, as if to reclaim the space. Over the years, he has worked with some of today’s most prominent street artists, including Nychos, Tristan Eaton, and Yanoe X Zoueh, earning him recognition for his sharp attention to detail and ability to transform walls into immersive, visually striking experiences. Strae continues to push the boundaries of spray paint murals, creating pieces that both celebrate the natural world and challenge the traditional definitions of public art.
